Two men who raped and filmed a woman in her home in a “sickening” attack have been jailed.
“Sexual predators” Abu Musa, 21, and Abdulrahman Hassan, 22, gave the victim, who was “heavily intoxicated“, a lift home to Winsford, Cheshire, after a night out on June 12, 2022.
Musa, from Dyke Street in Stoke-on-Trent, was punished to 13 years in prison after being found guilty of rape and assault by penetration.
Hassan, from Eden Street, Oldham, was sentenced to 12 years and nine months in prison. He previously admitted two counts of rape, assault by penetration and voyeurism. Musa had previously pleaded guilty to one count of voyeurism.
They were sentenced at Chester Crown Court on Friday. Both men were also given 20-year Sexual Harm Prevention Orders and will be on the sex offenders’ register for life.
The trial had heard that the victim was on a night out with a friend at a club in Nantwich on June 11, 2022.

The Crime and Victims

The two women left the club at 3 am and went to a takeaway, where they met Musa and Hassan, who offered to give them a lift home to Winsford, where the second woman left and went to bed.
Musa and Hassan stayed with the victim, who was drunk, and plied her with more alcohol before raping and sexually assaulting her.
Abu Musa and Abdulrahman Hassan met their victim on a night out at a takeaway in Nantwich during the early hours of June 12, 2022.
The pair offered her and a friend a lift home to Winsford, and after returning, the second woman left and went to bed.
Musa and Hassan stayed with their victim, who was already drunk, and plied her with more alcohol before raping and sexually assaulting her.
An investigation was launched by Cheshire Police into the attack, leading to the arrest of the two men.
During their inquiries, officers discovered video footage on Musa’s phone showing Hassan raping the victim.

Investigation and Evidence

After being shown the footage, Hassan admitted the offences. However, Musa continued to deny rape.
The 21-year-old, of Dyke Street, Stoke-on-Trent, had admitted a charge of voyeurism before being found guilty of rape and assault by penetration at a four-day trial, which concluded on April 14.
Hassan, 22, of Eden Street, Oldham, had previously pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, assault by penetration and voyeurism.
The pair returned to Chester Crown Court on Friday, where they were jailed for over 25 years.
Musa, who was also handed a 20-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), was jailed for 13 years.
Hassan was sentenced to 12 years and nine months in prison and given a 20-year SHPO.
Following the sentencing, Detective Constable Kelly Mitchell of Northwich CID said: “I would like to praise the victim for the courage and courage she has shown throughout this investigation.
“While she will never be able to forget what happened that night, I hope the sentences handed out will provide some closure.
“Musa and Hassan are both sexual predators; they took advantage of the victim in her own home, and what they subjected her to was nothing short of sickening.

Support for the Victim

“They were both aware that she was heavily intoxicated and knew that she could not consent. Despite this knowledge, they both chose to rape and sexually assault her multiple times.
“Not only that, but they also filmed much of the attack for their sexual gratification.
“Thankfully, they are both behind bars facing the consequences of their actions.”
Detective Inspector Ross Hamilton of Northwich CID added: “This was a challenging investigation, and I commend DC Mitchell for her dedication and commitment throughout the case. I would also like to thank all the other officers involved in the study.
“Nobody should have to experience what the victim has been through, and if anything can come from this case, I hope it encourages other victims of sexual crime to come forward and report them to us.
“Cheshire Police takes any allegation of sexual offences exceptionally seriously, and any allegation will be rigorously investigated, with the desire and needs of the victim as our leading precedence.
“Victims should never feel sorry to talk about what they have been subjected to.

Conclusion and Justice for the Victim

“They will receive the help and bear they need from our specialist officers, as well as from other bear agencies we work alongside, and all casualty of sexual offences have the right to anonymity.”
Predator Abu Musa filmed his pal raping a woman – after they plied her with booze and attacked her in her own home. Now the 21-year-old, from Hanley has been handed a 13-year jail term after raping the woman in what detectives have branded a ‘sickening’ attack.
Chester Crown Court heard Musa and fellow defendant Abdulrahman Hassan had met the woman in a takeaway after she’d been on a night out with a friend in Nantwich. The men offered them a lift back to the victim’s home around 10 miles away.
While the second woman then went to bed, Musa, of Dyke Street, and Hassan, of Eden Street, Oldham, stayed with the victim, who was already intoxicated, and plied her with other alcohol. The pair then raped and sexually assaulted her.
The attack was reported to Cheshire Police, who launched an investigation. Following their arrests, officers discovered video footage on Musa’s phone which showed Hassan raping the victim.
